Venturepark has announced a significant expansion as a national resource for emerging brands. Its renowned accelerator program now offers live events, sessions, and mentorship opportunities from coast to coast across Canada.

Cohort 16 is Venturepark's largest and most expansive cohort. It brings together the most promising emerging brands from Western and Eastern Canada, providing a platform for shared learning and growth within a truly national framework. The program will end with a live in-person Demo Day, where these brands will have a chance to connect with investors, retailers, and advisors, and take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey.

Founded in 2015 by Arlene Dickinson, Venturepark has been a catalyst for over 130 brands through its accelerator, contributing over $1 billion in economic impact to the Canadian economy. What began as a resource for entrepreneurs in Calgary, Alberta, has blossomed into a national organization supporting new product ideation, manufacturing, and mentorship.

Partnered with District Ventures Capital, a key player in CPG investments, and Sobeys, a national retail partner, Venturepark has become the go-to hub for CPG brands seeking growth. Its non-profit programs lower barriers for over 100 entrepreneurs annually.

Mike McNeil, vice president of Venturepark Labs, emphasizes the importance of supporting Canadian entrepreneurs: "For too long, we've relied on shipping our raw ingredients outside our borders and repurchasing those products after they are commercialized. We must support the entrepreneurs here in Canada by opening doors for them and building a large community to guide them on their journey."

This week, Venturepark proudly introduces the participants of Cohort 16, marking a milestone in the organization's commitment to fostering growth within the CPG sector. Introducing companies: Northern Wildflowers, Muskoka Mudita, STAC(S), Ouh Mami, Lost in the Sauce, The Wild Root, Brother Sprout, Laura Raes, Better Basics Milling, 32 Lakes Coffee Roasters, Salted, NEEVA, Brite Water, Wag & Bright Supply Co., and True Taste Café.
